Hey Folks,

My name is Captain/Chef Lenny Strobel, Founder and President of Reel*Time USA LLC.  I am proud to announce these “One-of-a-Kind” Fishing Challenges in which any angler of all ages in the USA, may join to compete for amazing gift prizes and to fish for a cause.

To help raise awareness and funds for charitable entities: National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

What are Reel*Time USA Challenges?

 RTUSA challenges has 4 different levels of competition:  NATIONWIDE, REGIONAL, POP UP-(Freshwater or Saltwater), INVITATIONAL or BEAT CHEF/CAPTAIN LENNY.

Nationwide:

These Challenges involve the whole country of all ages. This is a nationwide catch and release fishing challenge to see who can catch & release the most bass (Largemouth, Smallmouth & Peacock) in 4 hours (your timezone).

Pop Up:

Be ready to compete on short notice.These fishing or cooking challenges will be announced within a week or 2 and are exciting to get involved.  To be notified with our next “Pop Up” challenge,  subscribe to our membership.

Invitational: 

These challenges are very special in that they are by invitation only.  From salt to freshwater.

Regional:

These events may be Statewide or coastal, Saltwater or Freshwater.

ALL 5 are exciting ways for Angler(s) of all skill levels to compete in a friendly competition.

How did Reel*Time USA come about? 

I would like to share with you how this idea came about: A few years ago, I was bass fishing with my good friend Bart in Jupiter, Florida. I noticed a few kids fishing next to me and having a blast catching bass and taking “selfie” photos with their fish before they would carefully release them back in the water. What took place after that caught my attention; they were sharing their Bass photos on social media. The excitement on their faces and the conversations they had amongst each other was absolutely infectious. They couldn’t wait to catch another fish so they could post and share their friends near and far. From this observation, I was inspired to organize a friendly competition with friends. The inaugural event wound up having 76 anglers in 9 states.

Today, that idea has turned into a “National Fishing Challenge”. There are hundreds of participants from all over the USA that have enjoyed a day with their family and friends, making memories and teaching fundamental values like strong work ethic and good sportsmanship.

The Nationwide events have 50 winning divisions ranging from children to senior citizens, bait or artificial lures and boat or land. The format is very unique because it allows anyone to compete across the country, in any pond, lake, stream or honey hole. Participants sign up through our website, buy that day’s newspaper or download and print the RTUSA validation card to authenticate their catches, go fish 4 consecutive hours taking selfie photos with newspaper or card of each bass before they release. The person who catches and releases the most bass in a 4 hour time slot will be crowned Grand Champion and gets inducted into the Elite Group to compete with other past Grand Champions.
